Theme: Internet is an important part of life now. Cybersecurity is the biggest challenge on the Internet. Join this hack-a-tech event to learn about Computer Network fundamentals, an overview of Firewall, and how the Next Generation Firewall will play a vital role in securing the Internet for billions of netizens in the next decade.   


Speaker: Mr. Wang has over 20 years of experience in computer industry, especially the Integrated Circuit (IC) design field. As a senior manager, he is currently leading the development of FPGA, a cutting-edge semiconductor device, in a cybersecurity company in Silicon Valley.

Hackathons and How to Win Them

The current officers of Green Apple Education Foundation, who organized and hosted the first San Ramon Hackathon last year, as well as the monthly Hack a Tech events.

Hackathon

Today's Green Apple Education Foundation hackathon speakers were the organizers of the last San Ramon Hackathon. They taught participants about the nuances of a hackathon as well as how to gain the favor of the judges and win the contest. Our participants also participated in a mini hackathon, teaming up and pooling their ideas on emergency preparedness.
