We plan to resume vex robotics building and competition events when public health permits. The robotics team has refurbished over 100 computers and 3D printers.
What is VEX Robotics?
VEX Robotics is a robotics program for elementary through university students. The VEX Robotics competitions and programs are managed by the Robotics Education and Competition Foundation (REC).
VEX Robotics Competition
There are Three leagues of VEX robotics competitions meant for different age groups and skill levels:
- VEX V5 (previously VEX EDR) is for middle and high school students. VEX V5 Robotics teams compete annually n the VEX Robotics Competition (VRC).
- VEX IQ is for elementary and middle school students. VEX IQ robotics teams compete annually in the VEX IQ Challenge (VIQC) robotics competition.
- VEX AI is an advanced robotics program for high school and university students. VEX AI robotics teams compete in the VEX AI Competition (VAIC).
